The Holy Father gave a talk on St Dominic and the founding of the Dominican order this past Wednesday at his general audience. The beauty of the St Dominic is that he was open to the needs of his day and responded to the needs to educate and evangelize. He brought forth an order that valued learning and contemplation to present Christ in the fullness of reason.
