The political left in Europe is so repulsed by western culture that it is actively seeking to destroy it. The communist party of Italy has pushed through an EU resolution that will force all member states to accept same-sex marriage and lays the foundation to recognize abortion as a human right. Europe is the battle ground for many social issues as it is searching for its identity. Ultimately, it must decide between the Church and homosexual rights. The culture seems prepared to oppose the natural law, reason, and justice. It is also laying the foundation to make it a 'hate-crime' to be pro-life. Why does the gay agenda always coincide with abortion rights when pregnancy is impossible in a homosexual relationship? Why do they need to impose (or rather eliminate) the conscious of anyone who does not agree with them?
Even Gramsci would be concerned with this new form of cultural hegemony which looks a lot like a 'soft-totalitarianism.'
